My passion for the natural world began in childhood, exploring habitats and watching wild animals around my rural home in the Lake District. At 15 I bought my first camera (with a 3 year loan from my mum!) — the start of a journey that’s taken me from emperor penguins in Antarctica to orangutans in the Indonesian jungle.

From the Lake District to the Ends of the Earth

Giant armadillos in the Brazilian Pantanal to jungle crows in the heart of urban Tokyo.

Whether filming natural history for a global audience or focusing on a smaller scale local, commercial project, my aim is the same: to craft powerful stories that bring viewers closer to the world around them.
